Less is More

Let us show you a welcome sight:

Yes, that's right: open space! You told us to reduce the fill-in-the-blanks in our handouts and replace it with white space. Well, you were totally right, and we did it! Now, the handouts have a cleaner and simpler look. They're still fairly structured and have some fill-in-the-blank here and there; however, they now also provide enough space for students to develop their own note-taking skills.

If you haven't re-downloaded our handouts in a while, we recommend doing so again this year. We think you'll like the changes!

Separately, we made some updates to our Geometric/Binomial lesson (5.7): Why did NBA players stop shooting their free throws "granny style?" Take a look!

Free Throws, Granny Style?

Lesson 5.7

Updated with BINS conditions and a better discussion question, this lesson uses binomial and geometric random variables to explore the "granny style" free throw era in the NBA. Why do players no longer shoot underhanded?
