Free Quizzes for AP Stats

The Skew The Script website now features links to free, customized AP® Classroom assessments for AP® Stats. These unit quizzes, semester exams, and full mock exams are primarily composed of questions from prior AP® Exams, and they come in multiple versions. Best of all: they were created to fit well alongside Skew The Script’s AP® Stats curriculum.

This summer, AP® Stats educator/rockstar Corey Andreasen used AP® Classroom to compile the assessments, drawing primarily from AP® Classroom’s question bank. He also authored several questions in areas that needed supplementation. The result: a full suite of assessments that teachers can use for AP® Stats!

Why share quizzes through AP® Classroom? Several reasons:

  • Exam fidelity: Now that the AP® Stats exam has moved to a hybrid digital format, taking exams in AP® Classroom is the best way to simulate the look and feel of the real AP® Exam for students. Plus, using the AP® Classroom question bank ensures alignment to the rigor of the real AP® Exam.

    • Note: If preferred, teachers can print AP® Classroom quizzes. As always, please follow AP® Classroom guidelines for exam security.

  • Security: Students and other unauthorized users will not be able to view questions using the assessment links featured on our site. Only course-audit approved AP® teachers (and other educators authorized to view AP® Classroom) can click the assessment links to create copies in their own AP® Classroom accounts. Then, educators can securely administer their copy of the assessments with students.

  • Cost: Traditionally, AP® teachers have sourced their assessments from resources that charge a cost (to the teacher or to the school) for access. However, all course-audit approved AP® teachers get free access to shared AP® Classroom quizzes. So, you’ll be able to access these quizzes free of charge!

You’ll find the exams linked throughout our AP® Stats unit pages, as well as on this assessments compilation page. As always, we ask that you please follow all AP® Classroom guidelines for quiz sharing and exam security.
