Trailer: Revised CED for AP Stats? We got this.
It’s official: The College Board announced that the AP Statistics course revision will launch in school year 2026-27. This includes a revised course and exam description (CED) and some changes to the exam (starting in May 2027).
Although change can be intimidating, we’re excited about it. In fact, we have some news to share. Take a look:
That’s right: In June 2026, Skew The Script is launching a revised version of our AP Statistics curriculum, which will be completely aligned to the new course standards. In addition, we’re adding some new features, including…
Refreshed and updated data sets and lesson contexts
Polished new videos, handouts, and slides
Mastery check problems for each lesson, to help students assess their understanding
Additional teacher notes for each lesson, with implementation strategies and extra resources
Of course, all your favorite lesson contexts from our current curriculum will be in the new version. Our current version of the materials will also remain accessible on our site.
Plus, we’re excited to announce a new curriculum offering: High School Statistics. These materials, made for on-level statistics courses, are tied to the Dana Center’s statistics course framework and are built to make genuinely relevant contexts come alive in class. The materials will also come with guides that allow teachers to match up the lessons with their own state’s standards for high school statistics.
And, of course, all the above will remain completely free to access.
Let's skew it!
