Daily Lesson Format for Algebra I/II

We've heard your feedback about our Algebra 1 and Algebra 2 lessons: too long and not enough practice problems. Thankfully, we have some exciting developments to share with you all!

Introducing: Daily lessons for several key units in Algebra 1 and Algebra 2. These chunked lessons allow students to explore a relevant context over multiple days, and they feature full sets of practice problems for fluency.

Daily Lesson Format

  • Lessons cover several key units of Algebra 1 and Algebra 2.

  • Relevant, data-infused contexts that include: payday loans, electric vs. gas cars, how to become an influencer, healthcare, and the (in)famous McRib!

We think you'll like this new lesson format. Each lesson comes with a 1-2 minute hook video, to set up the context and introduce the key question at the beginning of class. Then, students tackle a framing problem in context, before solidifying their learning and jumping into fluency practice. Although it's not a full curriculum (yet), the lessons cover several important units in both Algebra 1 and Algebra 2.

Of course, all these new lessons are free to access and use in class. Also, for those who use our Algebra I/II lessons in our classic format, don't worry: they're still available here.

We hope you enjoy the new material. But not too soon! There's still some summer break* left, after all :)

Let's skew it!
