SkewU Local (Chicago)

We’re proud to bring the first ever SkewU workshop to Chicago. This is a workshop on making math relevant, using the materials from Skew The Script. Registration Deadline: Spots are limited and registration is first come, first served. Please make plans to register quickly, before spots fill up.

Dates: Monday August 5 - Wednesday August 7, 2024

Timing:

• Algebra I/II Workshop: 9am-12pm each day (3-day workshop, 9 total training hours)

• Statistics & AP® Statistics Workshop: 1pm-4pm each day (3-day workshop, 9 total training hours)

Pricing: $400 per course, $700 if registering for both courses

Funding: We’re committed to making sure cost isn’t a barrier. First, use this flyer to appeal to your school / district for funds. If that fails, please email Olivia Gladstone (olivia.gladstone@skewthescript.org) for individualized fundraising assistance.

Location: University of Chicago (specific building and room details will be sent to registrants prior to the workshop). Hosted by the Center for Spatial Data Science.

Certificates: All teachers who complete the sessions will receive a certificate, with full PD hours listed.
